About Prague

Prague (Praha) is the capital and largest city of Czech Republic. Situated in the north-west of the country on the Vltava River, the city is home to about 1.3 million people.

Prague has been a political, cultural, and economic center of central Europe during its 1,100-year existence. There is a lot of sights and interesting places. Prague is dubbed as "The City of Hundred Spires" - for inspiration, there is a website of featuring Prague's panorama as seen from its most popular and interesting towers.

Each of Prague’s districts has its own characteristic atmosphere and unique charm. Prague Castle is the largest ancient castle in the world. You can visit historical quarters Old Town, New Town, Lesser Town or Jewish Quarter. And you should not forget to visit the Gothic Charles Bridge. Since 1992, the extensive historical center of Prague has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.

Apart from sightseeing, Prague offers numerous opportunities for tasting the traditional Czech food and beer.

Transportation notes

How to get there from Clarion Congress Hotel to Technická 2: Take metro B (yellow line) from Vysočanská metro station, which is located next to the hotel, and go to Můstek metro station. There change for metro A (green line) and go to the last stop called Dejvická. Walk through a small park to the street Technická, the faculty is the first building on the right side.

Walking from Technická 2 to the "F2F birds of a feather tables and welcome drinks" location (restaurant) Kulaták, Vítezné námestí 820/12: When you get off at Dejvická station, the restaurant is less than 200 meters far - a simple map is: here.
